HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Just joined. Had first visit. Exceptional experience. Highest scores for 2nd year resident, Dr. Eduardo Reyes-Bruno. He was welcoming and thorough in addressing all our questions and concerns. The visit with him was followed by introductions and further information from Supervisory M.D., Dr. Nathan Spell. Dr. Spell, who has exceptional credentials, was direct and to the point, something we appreciated. Dr. Kauffman at MAHEC is absolutely amazing. She listens to all my concerns and genuinely cares. We make health decisions together, I never feel pressured or dismissed. I trust her guidance and her calm spirit makes me feel at ease. The office itself is always clean, calm, and punctual with all the support staff being super nice and helpful. I can't say enough good things!!
I had an appointment on September 6 with a very rude doctor who chided me about my weight and said I wasn’t a spring chicken-not a very good bedside manner especially when dealing with someone with medical trauma from multiple hospitalisations
I had an appointment with a male doctor on Wed, September 6, who was absolutely the worst. He proceeded to tell me I was no Spring Chicken and then got onto me about my weight. This guy has the worst bedside manner I have ever encountered . I have had multiple hospitalisations since 2020 and he treated me with such disdain that I dare say this was the worst doctor’s visit I have ever encountered. Do not go here!
This in regards to Mahec Family practice...I went to see a doctor and always got a nurse instead. I'm a paralyzed patient and am always in severe pain and no one wants to believe me. I feel like every time I go in here I'm scammed out of my money. Today is the last time I go here I'm going on the hunt for a real doctor that can help me not frustrate me.
