Great bedside manner, but comes off money hungry, pushing services and scheduling appointments without consulting me. Also, very hard to reach when I wanted to learn about my results. Charged me for a bunch of services using the wrong billing code.

This was my first pregnancy so I was new to prenatal appointments. Dr. Mahari was good in the beginning she would help reassure me about any of my anxieties. When I got to my last trimester I was still being given appointments every 4 weeks instead of every two weeks like we had planned. No one was taking my vitals for weeks and I had to advocate for myself when I didn’t feel good. I had a LEEP procedure done by dr. Mahari and her bedside manner was amazing which helped me tremendously ! My past experience with my old obgyn wasn’t great and I was extremely nervous. Dr. Mahari explained things thoroughly and answered all of my questions before starting, making sure I knew exactly what to expect. She also walked me through all the steps during the procedure so I knew what was going on. She was kind and patient and all of what I wanted in an obgyn. When I was breastfeeding, Dr. Mahari prescribed me birth control pills that made my milk completely dry up. She told me they would be completely fine to take while breastfeeding, however that was not the case. I also felt that while I was telling her my issues at the doctors office, she kept interrupting me and wouldn't let me speak. A few months later I contacted her to refill a prescription, and no response. I do not recommend.
