Terrible experience. I got straight up lied to over the phone, drove nearly 2 hours for an appointment to be “covered under warranty”, was told in every aspect that the service would be covered after running miles, years, vin, and warranty details in their system. When I arrived, they just said “we shouldn’t have told you that.” No kidding. I came to the dealer to be told I would have to pay a start up $225 just for diagnostics, not to mention any needed service. Having gotten service at lots of Volvo dealerships across the US I can say without a doubt, these guys are pretty much the least responsive service center with the Volvo name I’ve ever interacted with. Two starts because Volvos are awesome, but these guys are NOT. Ithaca Foreign Car down the road 5 mins are way more personal, friendly and responsive. Real bummer. I hope it gets better.
Great car shopping experience with Richie Kuhar. He was extremely knowledgeable, easy going, and enjoyable to work with. I highly recommend doing business with Richie.
