I wanted to update and reinforce my 5-Star review of this wonderful cleaning company.! I have known Mary, Magpie’s owner, for decades, and I have used her company employees for several years now. Everyone she has sent me has been hard-working and excellent. Mary and her employees are terrifically honest and trustworthy. This company is an excellent cleaning to use. They have a friendly staff and are very meticulous in their cleaning processes.
We have used MagPie for over a year and are very happy with the service and value. They are always responsive and courteous. I have always had the same cleaner (who is kind, unobtrusive, and hard-working). They are quick, thorough, and consistent. Well worth every penny I have spent to be able to focus on work and gift myself with a clean house when I come home!
We had a HUGE construction job done on our house last year and by the time the job was done we had dust and dirt all over the house. MagPie came recommended from our contractor to do a "construction clean". Mary's crew came in and spent two days doing a DEEP clean of our house and did an incredible job. They got every speck of dust on the baseboards, windows, floors, appliances and every other part of the house. We had no issue with the person performing the cleaning. She did a reasonably good job. The person scheduling the service frequently overbooked and sometimes failed to send the cleaning lady on regularly appointed times. This month we were given notice of a 25% increase in fees to $50/hour--for housecleaning. We provide all cleaning supplies. We declined. Her job is scheduling--she doesn't get it right.
