Do not come to Mago Grill & Cantina expecting traditional Mexican food. The food here is absolutely yum, but it is more contemporary with some Latin influences. The service is excellent, and the staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Thursday night is dancing night at Mago's. Don't forget to check how hot your dish is before you order.

Better than Barrington one! Excellent service and drinks Came today with my amazing son delicious fresh food
My wife and I had a great date night that we finished at Magos. What a wonderful place. Great atmosphere, and amazing food! Juan and Leo took care of us and our table. We started the nice with a handmade guacamole. We both had enchiladas for dinner. They were absolutely amazing! We finished our night with a churros cart, which was so lovely. What an amazing spot. We watched everyone work so hard and in sync. It was amazing to see! We will definitely be back. Thank you so much Juan, Leo, and the Mago crew!
The food was flavorful and perfectly cooked. One of the best dining experiences I've had.
I was a little sad that they didn’t have al pastor or quesobirria. However, because of this I tried something new. The cochinita (braised pork shoulder) and carne asada (steak). TOP notch! The habanero sauce was out of this world. Will be coming back soon. Thanks!
