Room(s) was substandard. 1st room dirty, door unsecure/wide open, and no power. 2nd room given was worse. Shower curtain and rod collapsed, in tub wet & dirty. Never got into a room (less than ten minutes). I opted to leave and was told I'll be reimbursed. A week later and still not reimbursed. I called and went to see the Manager. He left the hotel before I got there. I booked directly with this hotel.
Rooms are what you pay for I guess, there was a mildew smell, the blankets were thin, and it looked like it was spot cleaned. They have the longest continuous hallway in Michigan, 2 floors but no elevator, there’s still easy access to get to your room from the side doors. The hallways smelled strongly of weed even though it’s supposed to be a smoke free building. The hotel front desk attendants were really helpful and friendly, check in and check out was easy and quick.

Booked with ParkNFly and the Parking was the only thing OK about this place. The lobby makes you think the hotel has been updated, but the rooms are 100% the opposite. From a used bar of soap in the shower to the bathroom faucet not being placed properly so there were big holes in the counter, to 1/2 the wall paper removed and not paint applied to the wall to missing/broken fixtures, this place is a DUMP!!! I stayed in a lot of hotels 5 star but some time hospitality means more when staying in a hotel i had a problem and Sam and emmerick got right on it i was checking out they was so helpful I stayed another night if you want some were that the front desk is helpful and nice this is the place Sam emmerick thank you
