If you're looking for a place that actually has leasing office on site, in office, look elsewhere! This property leasing office has been closed since COVID and never returned! We've lived here for few years and could never actually get anyone to ask questions or show our frustration! We've had ongoing issue with the parking living here!! Management has done nothing to resolve or manage our frustration with this issue at all! We didn't even have any authority to call towing whenever random cars would just park in our spot!! Never lived at this property but I have lived at another essex "managed" property. Stay away!!! Essex does not have onsite leasing or management. It's all remote, so it's a pain to communicate with them. They hardly ever answer calls or respond to emails. They list units that might not actually be available and try to keep your money if you don't accept one of the other units that they have available. Julia Olivera and the rest of the resident relations team are so helpful. Very prompt and professional. The complex is well kept and one of the hidden gems of Sunnyvale.
We recently received our rent renewal increase, but before that, we had already initiated a conversation about maintaining our rent price—more than two months in advance. Despite this, building management did not inform us whether we could negotiate the increase until just 11 days before our move-out date, leaving us with no time to explore our options.
