Really hate having to change my review but I was dropped as a patient for missing appointments. There was no call or email instead was sent as a letter that I had to sign for. I haven't made an appointment in a while and am overdue for my yearly. It hurts losing a Dr you really like. I adore Dr. Rama. She's very kind, listens to my concerns, and knowledgeable. Wish I found her sooner.

I’ve seen Dr. Rama for going on three years. She listens, takes time to answer questions, and is very kind. Also her front office handled an insurance denial like a champ. I was on the phone with Aetna for hours with no progress. The office called me to say they would resubmit the prior authorization, an hour later? BOOM approved. Everyone is nice and helpful.

I have seen many doctors in my lifetime, as I do have some chronic health conditions. I switched primary care because I felt like my old doctor's office closed too often and made it difficult for me to get in around my schedule. Not to mention I felt like many concerns I had were disregarded and seen as unimportant. I specifically wanted female, internal medicine and an office in Huntsville open on Fridays. I have no complaints with the actual care given... I call for a follow up appointment and the receptionist informed me during the call that I was dropped as a patient because I had a bill that was unpaid. Fair enough - if I was unwilling to pay it. The receptionist said "I'm sorry, we have decided to drop you as a patient due to an unpaid bill". My response was "I would've paid it if I knew about it, all you had to do was ask."
