Great Place for a romantic Getaway!!! You don't need to wait until St. Valentine's Day to visit this place. It has the reputation of being the most romantic place in Gainesville, and for a reason. Very close to downtown, a weekend here with your significant other is surely going to be an experience none of you will ever forget. IT's the attention to small details that make this bed and breakfast so unique. The prices are reasonable (100-140 a night) for a one of a kind experience.

Big mix up When we arrived they had our reservation messed up and had to stay at Holiday Inn and ended up just staying there. Oh Well, MW Rocky Pointe , NC

Stunning Absolutely stunning! They have five rooms and nine cottages with private baths. They welcome children and pets. It's a wonderful place to stay.

The best there is! We have been staying with Joe and Cindy at The Magnolia Plantation for the past 20 years. Going to Magnolia is like going to your favorite Aunt's house. Everything they do is always for the guest's confort. I also know that they have a reservation system that does not allow them to overbook. I just thought the one review on this page was a little crazy. Knowing them as we do, if any of the Inns in town overbooked, they would send the guest to another Inn...not a chain hotel.
