Last year Julie diagnosed me with an arcuate uterus. When I went for my first OB appointment this year, I mentioned the arcuate uterus to her and asked questions. She proceeded to google search “what is an arcuate uterus” right in front of my husband and me. She also stated that I did not have an arcuate uterus even though she diagnosed me with it as well as two other doctors.
She's extremely personable, and understanding. Listened to my concerns and took me seriously. Definitely one of my favorite Doctors I've ever been to.
Dr. Deadmond does a fantastic job explaining things. She is very caring and patient. I’ve never had an GYN this thorough. She listened when no one else did and gave me options! Hopefully she stays at North Oaks!
I have PTSD from several previous terrible gynecological exams which makes going very difficult. Dr. Depaula-Cox was the first doctor that really seemed to understand and respect my previous trauma. She never made me feel like I was being judged when the stress of just being there reduced me to tears and was even willing to do my Pap smear and pelvic exam under sedation to keep me from having to go through another PTSD flashback. Easily the best experience I’ve had by far.
Horrible- his bed side manner My daughter was in labor at 20 weeks and the man seems to have no empathy or concern or anything to help my daughter. This was my daughter’s first pregnancy as well. Her beautiful , perfect baby passed away that morning after he was born. When Dr Matthew Mason finally got to her room , he came into the room like we were bothering him. She is a top notch medical professional. Her kindness, empathy, knowledge and patience is hard tocome by. Despite me being her very last appointment on what I’m sure was a very busy day, she answered every question, offered suggestions, eased my concerns, and made my examination very comfortable.
Julie knows what she does, but she is a rude, unfriendly woman, she made me feel bad on several occasions during my check-up appointment. I sincerely expected a better treatment, I hope that she changes her bad character, and that I have more empathy for her patients.
Julie goes above and beyond to care for her patients. I followed her to North Oaks because I couldn’t imagine anyone else taking care of me. She is the best!
Mary has been such a blessing for me. Gave me hope and finally a treatment that worked for me! Always patiently listens carefully and has a calm and caring demeanor. She truly cares and never rushes. I highly recommend her to any age group woman looking for a WHNP.
