I underwent an abdominoplasty performed by Dr. Medina in 2024. The outcome involved significant distortion and malposition of my umbilicus that was not present prior to surgery, with the resulting scar positioned outside of the natural contour of the belly button. This outcome was not consistent with my expectations for this procedure. This required further evaluation and an attempted revision with another surgeon, which did not correct the issue and resulted in additional scarring.
