Happened upon this place while studying Google Maps in need of a nice spot in proximity to the Hampton Coliseum (but out of the fray) for a run of concerts. Reviews seemed too good to be true, but Lankford and Joyce Blair delivered such a lovely experience from start to finish. Kind, warm, helpful, unobtrusive people who take great pride in running an immaculately maintained historic property. This was one of the best stays I have ever had at a bed and breakfast! My husband and I were celebrating our one year anniversary and we are so happy we decided to celebrate our anniversary at Magnolia House Inn! Magnolia House Inn is immaculate, the food is excellent, and our room was so cozy and comfortable! We absolutely enjoyed meeting, Innkeepers, Mr. and Mrs. Blair! We look forward to going back again soon! Can’t wait!
We absolutely love this place! Joyce and Lankford provide such a warm and welcoming place. So much attention to detail! The place is extremely clean and comfortable. Joyce and Lankford are so kind and attentive. I highly recommend this place!
Cozy, comfortable, and quiet B and B. Breakfast served courteously by the innkeepers. Thee Ellington themed room has a very nice couples massage spa tub. This is a Historic Inn only minutes from everything in Hampton. We had a small event at the chapel to renew of vows for 40th anniversary. A great place to stay. Exceptional Innkeepers.
Absolutely amazing! Owners were spectacular, very pleasant and welcoming, present but not intrusive. They were wealths of information of both history and the city. The house and common areas were spectacularly stocked and clean. The room was incredible, we stayed in the Ellington sweet.
