Was the most horrible experience and biggest nightmare that could ever come from a contractor... I would sit and explain the whole story, but I don't want to relive it... We were talked into giving Rick McGaha $12,000 as a 50% "good faith" deposit for a custom built fireplace, and a patio redo. Rick was charming and on the ball. Until he cashed the check. Then...Rick called and said the weather would not allow them to work (the patio, sure, but the fireplace? That's indoors.). They finally got started, 3 MONTHS after the initial deposit.
