I recently took my wedding dress to Magic Touch Cleaners, which was quite dirty, post wedding. The beautiful fabric on my dress was black on the bottom from being stepped on during our wedding night, and the fragile details of the dress made me nervous it would never be the same again. Wow! Excellent job! I’m not even sure where to begin, the seamstress Mary did an amazing job tailoring my wedding dress. She was quick, she did it in under a week! It’s a super long, heavy dress with a corset, and beating all over, she handled it like it was nothing! My wedding is still about three weeks away and she finished the order in no time. We've been using Kensington branch of Magic Touch for nearly 10 years and rate the service 5-star. The branch owner and the staff are friendly and efficient, the cleaning is back when promised (if not sooner) and the job they do actually cleaning the garments is very good.
I have used Magic Touch Cleaners twice in the last year for wedding-related items. First, I had them clean a 50-year old veil which was my mother-in-law's. As the veil was made of lace and was a bit fragile, I was apprehensive, but they did get a great job. After the wedding, I had them preserve my wedding dress which included a deep cleaning as well as having it boxed.
