I'm going to give it a five star. The food and service was excellent. Tanner was our server and watched over us carefully. After reading these reviews I have to say I was very surprised by them. We would most definitely go back again.
This place has more time to persuade and defend online than to just spend the hours in the kitchen getting it right. As a former diner and enployee. One star is really putting it nicely. Oh and get ready for the defense. I loved the halibut and had a 5 star review on that dish but mad to modify it but that has since been eliminated from the menu. Hopefully this place can get to a place where its at its best but its not yet

This guest arrived for their reservation on new years to a fully booked restaurant. I was hosting and as we had two reservations for 4 people, Mrs Mady and another group who specifically requested a table not a booth. When I told their server which table was theirs he tried to seat them at the only open table and they protested loudly. The server then asked me if we could move them and I told him we had no open tables for the rest of the night. They ran out of scallops, filet mignon and basil by 7:00 pm do that was very dissappointing!
If you are considering eating at this establishment I would say do not do it, or rethink it .the first time we had breakfast there the service was great food was delicious ,so we decided to go there a second time .the second time we went the food took over an hour the wait staff was not friendly at all. the owner of restaurant was not friendly and offered everyone in the river restaurant coffee except our table there was also a couple who came in after us who got their mail before us.

Mrs. Davis, I am sorry that your food was under cooked. Our oversight on the done-ness of your food, was absolutely our error. We would never send out anything if we knew it was mis-prepared. I would encourage you in the future, to bring these kind of things to the attention of your server in the moment, so that we as an establishment can make your meal right, or adjust your bill accordingly.
