My husband, myself and our dog stayed here 1 night on our multi state vacation. I wish I could have stayed longer! The room was so cute and had so many neat, thoughtful touches. They embraced having a dog with us and the property had plenty of room to walk her. There was also a fire pit, grill, hammocks and picnic tables available to use along with chairs right outside the room. The bed was the most comfortable of any place we stayed on this trip. I cannot say enough good things about Charlotte! I booked a room through Bringfido in April of last year to stay at the Cardinal Inn for Mini-Truckin' Nats for this year. Unfortunately there was an issue with BringFido booking my room and the reservation did not go through. I reached out to BringFido the day before to confirm and they said our reservation hadn't been received by the hotel, they weren't able to do much to help so we called the Cardinal Inn directly. Room are ok.just found some bed bugs
You're in the middle of Maggie Valley and a short drive to Waynesville. The rooms are clean and look recently updated. There's a TV with cable, a small fridge, microwave, a heater and a small AC unit. The only thing that I wasn't a fan of was the tankless water heater because it took a very long time to get hot water. My MiL had a bigger room with a small kitchen and a table. The kitchen has basic cookware and dishes. We are planning to stay there again in March.
This place met and exceeded our expectations! We always take our little Chihuahua with us when we vacation. The room has a nice kitchenette, a dining table, a love seat and two double beds with room for a pet bed. Motel management was super helpful even calling us before we arrived.
