I am such a fan of this great Italian restaurant that on my first visit to Las Vegas, Maggiano's was our very first stop. We've never had bad service and the food is exceptional. If you are in a party of at least 4, the $25/each family meal is the best deal in town: You get a full three courses and they will just keep bringing more food to you on request. We are always looking for an excuse to eat at Maggiano's and it won't disappoint.
should quantity make up for quality--or lack thereof? – This was the venue for a fam dinner on a recent Sat eve. Just moved down here so I'm a novice to Richmond's dining scene. Can't say I had high expectations but after being informed that the wait is 1hr 15 mins I was eager to be pleasantly surprised. The food was marginal. The service was pretty good, I was in a big party. I haven't been back nor am I in a rush to. I can't say that I'd recommend it, but several of my friends like it a lot.
The food was not bad and the environment was nice and clean, but to be honest... I had heard so many good things about this place and it really didn't live up to its expectations. The waitress was a little rude, some of the food came out wrong and undercooked, and we were crammed into a small space. It is probably better for a small party of 2 or 4, but not for large ones.
Consistently great food – Maggianos is always a win in my book. When I get tired of trying out new local restaurants, and want a good meal, I know I can always count on "The Magg" (what I call it). The ambiance is very old school Italian, and can get crowded, but the lighting is nice and dim, its a big restaurant, so lots of seating. And they always have Dean MArtin or Frank Sinatra playing. Terrible Service and average food. – Service was bad and table and floor was not cleaned properly. I have to ask the waitress to clean pasta on floor lying in front of us. Waitress does not know anything about red wines and she was not smiling and friendly at all. We ordered salmon and it was not appealing at all did not taste like upscale dinning meal. Great Italian food, in a nice yet casual environment. – I went to Maggiano's in Short Pump with my immediate family to 'audition' the food for my upcoming wedding reception. I had no idea what to expect, as I had never been to a Maggiano's before, but it was a very pleasant find. Maggiano's Restaursant This Italian style restauraunt serves their food in huge portions. For about $50.00 You get 3 meals for 2 people. They have a Family Meal for a great price, so you can choose between different dishes from each category. They are a little expensive but it is defintetly worth it.
Cozzy place for friends gathering Maggianos Little Italy in Short Pump shopping mall is one of the best Italian restaurants in Richmond area. It's a very nice place for business and friends gatherings. I love the family/group option for ordering
