If I could give zero stars, I would. I met her for an initial appointment today. She was extremely dismissive, didn’t seem to take my concerns seriously, and talked over me. When I looked at the note summary, half of the information she documented was incorrect. I read through some of the other reviews prior to my visit and tried to give her the benefit of the doubt. I should’ve just saved myself the time and terrible experience. I definitely will not be returning to see this woman again.
Dr. Nowak is a highly knowledgeable doctor. She’s very smart and can explain anything. She really does listen to my concerns, and she always orders testing regarding any concerns instead of excusing symptoms. She was my first and only doctor moving to Rockford, and with one listen of my heart she referred me to a cardiologist and found out I needed open heart surgery. Well since the doc is a no b.s type human , I'll be one also. As a doctor you don't walk in and say what do you want.! It's rude, unprofessional and not how you treat a person in trouble le that's asked for your help. I don't honestly care because probably / more then likely/ the doctor has to put up with whiners and lairs, but some of us honestly need help. At work you need to be professional period. Just my opinion if it matters.
