We visited this restaurant with my fiancée's family to meet her sister's boyfriend's family, and the staff had a nice area reserved for our group, which was greatly appreciated. 😊 The restaurant has a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and the decor creates a pleasant first impression. ✨ The only downside was that the dining room felt quite crowded. Really good food in a relaxed atmosphere. I had the grilled cheese and like to consider myself a bit of a connoisseur of this item from across American diners and restaurants; the grilled cheese at Maevery’s is definitely in the top 10% of grilled cheeses I’ve had.
Food was delicious and service was great!
I understand that restaurants are challenged with pleasing customers. I don’t enjoy bad reviews. Even though the staff was attentive and it was a nice atmosphere, my dinner was downright awful. I would rather email them directly, but their website doesn’t provide an email contact. I ordered the Pan seared Salmon. The fish was swimming in a sea of broth, which soaked the fish and diluted it. First and last time here for early dinner and drinks. Sat at table near bar with soccer playing on the TV monitors. Initially felt like good vibes. 3 stars for food because tuna tartar, mash potatoes and cocktail were impressive. Main dish skirt steak was disappointing in texture and serving size.
