When I first moved to the area, I needed a repair to a pair of earrings my Mom left me. I took them to another jeweler (not Maertens). The jeweler I found is well known and has multiple locations. They were pleasant and charged what I felt was a fair enough price to re-affix the backing to a gold drop earring. When I got the set back, one earring fell apart within an hour of wearing them (thank goodness I was home so was able to find it). Took a double strand fine jewelry pearl bracelet to drop off for an appraisal. Handed it to the owner. After looking at it she said it needed to be restrung. I asked the cost and was quoted approximately $40. Upon picking it up was charges 5x’s that - $220.00. No call to check to see if i would be ok with the higher price before doing the work. This is an amazing jewelry boutique that sells custom pieces, with outstanding customer service and a friendly and warm environment. Every piece is unique. Heather and her team are fantastic. 5 stars!
