After seven years and three different facilities, Madonna Ptak is definitively the gold standard of care for our mother. A great experience always relies on active family involvement, and this facility provides the perfect, supportive environment for us to partner in our mother's care.

I spent 3 weeks and 1 day at MPR due to a serious car wreck. During the stay I had to return to the ER for medical complications. These complications were met with arguments and lack of caring by certain staff. I never saw the doctor and the PA only twice. The food is horrible and the laundry staff lost a favorite tee shirt. Paperwork was lost and there was a lack of communication and empathy by nursing. Thankfully the PT/OT staff, certain CNAs and nurses were very kind and professional. Everyone on staff is very welcoming and the atmosphere is always warm and positive. They have provided me with so much help whenever I have needed it concerning the medical and financial aspects of making sure my loved one has what she needs. I have peace of mind knowing that she is in their care and they have all become like family to us both.

This is a very well-maintained facility. Prior to coming to Morton Plant Rehab, I visited other facilities and was taken aback by the odor I was confronted with when I walked through their doors. Not @ MPR. It is VERY clean and clean smelling. The staff are friendly, caring and professional. I can certainly understand why it has a 5-star rating.
