My Uncle was at the VA for a week. Nursing staff were amazing. Keep us up on everything. Cardiologist were great explaining things. Neurologist were heart. They were from UW. But couldn't ask for better care for my veteran.
Best VA Hospital in the country!
They have plenty of staff around and they are very congenial and helpful but The departments are totally mismanaged. To get them to look at my ears I first had to have a provider. I made an appointment with the provider and she couldn't do anything with my ears so they made an appointment appointment with an audiologist but when I saw the audiologist They said they wouldn't do anything until someone had taken care of my ear problem. The staff of the Madison VA hospital are very caring. Thank you very much.
They will “forget” to put in appointments, not call when they say they will, and as an added bonus they have a “patient advocate” who will call and talk down to you if you try to seek any assistance. Absolutely unreal
