Madison is always our go to for keeping up with our home maintenance. This time I was trying to find craft and gardening items and was getting a little frustrated because I wasn't sure exactly what all I needed. I called and was transferred to AJ and she was awesome! She knew exactly what I was talking about and what I needed. Thankful for AJ and all the other helpful staff!!

Spent the last two days working with an employee via telephone who went above and beyond to make sure I was getting all the materials I needed before shipping it to me. Madison is hands down the best hardware store in Southeast Alaska. Shout out to AJ in the shipping department for all of your help!
I had an incident a few years ago where I bought a water heater from Madison’s. Random chance, it was a lemon. I spent 2 months (of cold showers) arguing w the manufacturer. The person who installed it went to Madison’s and explained the trouble we had. They agreed it wasn’t right and replaced it!!! I’ve lived in Tx and helped my dad w construction (so I’ve been in MANY stores) and I’ve NEVER had a hardware store go those kind of extra miles for me before. Amazing store, we are so lucky to have it in our town.
Ordered materials and they delivered them to the wrong address. Then once we got the materials 3 hours later we were almost finished with the job and were short on what we needed and went to get the extra and they showed they had it in the computer but couldnt find it. then went in today to get other items and they were closed when all the signs said they were supposed to be open
