Vanessa was my colorist. I did Bayalage, roots and all over color to fix my brassy hair. She listened to my concerns and issues I have with my hair. She worked with her magic from bottles to make sure my hair had no red undertones. The color came out great, exactly what I showed her from my inspiration photo. She recommended a product to keep it from getting brassy and also informed me to use sulfate and paraben free products to insure my hair color lasts. I left a very satisfied customer!!!
Extremely disappointing experience. I will not be coming back. I came in with a very clear reference photo showing the exact copper/auburn shade I wanted. Before starting, I specifically asked the colorist whether I could achieve the same color as the reference photo, and she assured me three separate times that I would get the same result. I first went to Madison Reed in LA and had a great experience, with the demi-permanent color lasting much longer than what I’d been doing in my bathroom, though it obliterated my highlights, which the colorist told me the demi-permanent color wouldn’t do. Went Friday here in NYC to get my color refreshed, and they seemed way overbooked, to the point that the colorists were rushing around, dropping tubes of color. The team at 3rd Ave & 67th completely transformed my botched Balayage! The colorist took her time to hear my concerns and took her time to fix and give me a gorgeous root touch up and Balayage. She also worked with the manager to make sure it all developed, and turned out well. The staff was kind, thoughtful, and attentive. My hair looks fabulous and I am so happy! Looking forward to my next appointment. Thanks for saving my hair!
First time here and my consult was about 3 minutes, I am happy with the color but it does not match the pictures I was shown, and it did not fully cover my grays. The whole experience felt very impersonal and certainly not worth the cost.
