We stopped by Madison because my mother needed a new watch battery. While we were there I asked the man if he could clean my ring. He had me take it off, looked at it and told me it wasn’t worth it because it wasn’t a real diamond. He then told me to clean it with windex. When I told him it was a real diamond his response was, “are you sure.” We’ll, according to the appraiser, insurance guy and paperwork and the reputable jeweler where we got it, it is very much a real diamond.
