aloof staff and expensive I called in advance to ask how much a contact lense fitting was. They told me $70. I went for my exam and because I didnt know my contact prescrition, the exam was $100. Had i known they would charge me an extra $30 for this, I would have brought the prescription off the side of my contacts box. When i told the receptionist that they shld tell customers this, she just ignored me. the dr was weird and wouldnt stop talking to me and lecturing me about smoking. the whole experience was odd.

Go Elsewhere The doctors and staff are rude, and it can be difficult to get an appointment. Beware the "contact fitting fee" (even if you already wear contacts) and the staff's lack-of-concern for prescribing lenses covered by your insurance plan. Prices for contacts purchased in the office are almost 50% higher than what you can get with visiondirect.com. Save yourself some money and aggravation and go elsewhere.

Wonderful experience I like the service that was provided to me here. The staff was very pleasant and friendly.They also have a great selection of eyewear for reasonable prices.I would recommend this Optical.

avoid if possible terrible customer service. would expect at a minimum courteous staff for a place which considers themselves upper scale. also agree prices are at a premium to already inflated manhattan retail. avoid this place if possible.

Dont waste your money Too pricey. Overcharged on everything. They even said they would order contacts me at online rates -- I paid $160 for 8 boxes whereas I wouldve gotten them for $100 from visiondirect. They called me to pick my lenses up, I went 2 weeks later and they still didn't have them.
