I felt neglected and not heard. When I came, she referred me to a hematologist for iron transfusion. I did go and get the infusions, over the course of three weeks, as suggested. Every week I will have different reactions, and the staff would tell me to call my primary doctor, and she never answer or return my call. So I ended up in ER. Afterwards, I then called for a refill for my iron to keep my levels up, only to never get my script sent over or get a return call. Dr. K has been me and my children's doctor for the last 7 years. She is wonderful with my kids, she listen and makes excellent referrals if we need it. She has moved locations a few times since we've been coming to her, for a doctor as great as her we will travel.
Dr. K has been my doctor for many years. Aside from being thorough and knowledgeable, she listens, and makes a hypothesis (when she's presented with labs and information which is inclusive). More importantly, her care incorporates a wonderful blend of firmness and understanding. Sometimes, I prefer to do things a certain way. When plausible, she allows me to do so.
