Reply to the owner's comment: the owner's comment is a lie, I lived in Madera, they have the record of it. Bad: 1. They haven't refund a deposit of more than $4000 after 3 months. When communicating multiple times with Greig (he is issuing the refund), we were either ignored, or it took many days to hear back, telling us they would check but with no follow-up. 2. The paint and carpet were perfectly fine upon move-out but we were charged ~$250 for it. Luckily we have made a video when moving out.
I really wanted to like this place, but the leasing office is too frustrating to deal with. They are completely inflexible with their algorithm, even if many, many units are open. Seems like bad business to me to not realize that you're pushing away your customers because your algorithm is more important, even though, in a few weeks, the algorithm will reflect the lack of interest and naturally lower the rates. I give five stars for the apartments and location, repair people, 2 stars for others. Good: facility is modern, safe environment, clean, convenient location, friendly repair workers Bad: 1. This is an appreciation for the maintenance team, Jose and Julio, at Madera. Apartment living often comes down to the quality of maintenance, as issues inevitably arise over time. Jose and Julio consistently stand out with their politeness, professionalism, and punctuality.
