TERRIFIC EXPERIENCE! – My granddaughter had a maid of honor dress custom-made in Millburn. The dress and workmanship were horrible. On Tuesday my granddaughter and I took the dress to Mademoiselle. Mitchell helped us pick out a gorgeous dress that they customized in two days. His warmth and professionalism put a smile back on our faces. Chloe will look gorgeous at the wedding on Sunday.
DOES NOT KNOW HOW TO MEASURE!!!!! – Please do not go to Mademoiselle for any occasion. The owner (Mitchell) was rude to work with and has a huge chip on his shoulder, not to mention the fact that he doesn't know how to use a tape measure!! I was measured for a bridesmaid dress in september, and just recently picked it up. Upon picking up my dress I was told by Mitchell that I owed $25 extra dollars because he had to order a size 18. Anyone who knows me and my business can tell what's going on here. You're damned if you do... This person measured a solid 18 in all proportions of her body. She may not want to hear it from me or pay the additional. I always say numbers don't lie. I don't need her bad language or attitude. Grow up. She's creating an unfair portrait of this business and review sites don't work when it's a dartboard of deception.
HORRIFIC – Well I had the horrific experience of meeting the owner at this establishment. I was looking at bridesmaid dresses with my best friend for her wedding. He proceeded to follow us around and take dresses out of our hands saying that they were not available for purchase. Note to owner take down the dresses that are out of season and not available. I?ve been in retail 28 years and have NEVER had a customer feel the way this person felt. My associates and I are cautious as to how our gowns are handled. If she was so tight in a gown she should have known not to put it on. Stock sizes are 12's. She claims she's a 4. She should call me herself if she feels wronged. I?m confident that any customer who has been to my store knows I am very reasonable. Reviews are important to my business - it shows on the many positive ones.
Wonderful wonderful experience – This has been the second time the three ladies of my household have returned to this magnificent store and received the most professional treatment in this industry! A GREAT SHOPPING EXPERIENCE – The wedding went great and the compliments on the bride and bridesmaid's dresses were amazing. The alterations were more than perfect and at a very reasonable cost. Excellent Customer Service and Quality Products – I'm a repeat Mademoiselle customer. In 2004, I selected to use Mademoiselle for my bridesmaid and maid of honor dresses. When my sister got engage in 2009, I knew she must use Mademoiselle for her gown and the bridesmaid dresses. Therefore, we scheduled an appointment to meet with the store owner Mitchell. Bad Attitude and Uncompromising Service – I went into Mademoiselle for alterations on my wedding dress and was greeted by the charming Mitchell. At first things were great. The alterations went well if not for a little expensive. Together, Mitchell and I picked out a pair of 'Dyeables' shoes that were available in the store. However, not in my size. My policy is that when you special order an item, it's yours which is stated on YOUR SIGNED receipt. Your note said you had a horrible experience because I wouldn't let you abuse my policy. Your letter makes one believe that you weren't committed to the shoes that you PROOFED and FIT- which made them ready for dyeing-which I did! WHO THINKS DYED SHOES ARE RETURNABLE? I'm in retail 28yrs & it's about commitment, respect, & trust. You have my blessing on a long life filled with that.

RIPPED OFF – the sales guy (owner) is helpful...in taking your money. my daughter ordered a jovani dress from a catalog and when it came, the color was off, the material was cheap and the workmanship was shoddy. the owner would not refund her $450 she paid for a jovani dress. (by the way, i tried contacting jovani in ny, no response. thats the last time we order anything from them too!!) $450 for a dress she could not wear. she wound up paying for another dress she bought online which was absolutely beautiful. i think mademo... read more
