I’ve been a patient of Dr. Kapoor for a couple of years now, and I can honestly say he is the best general physician I’ve ever had. Dr. Kapoor takes the time to listen, explains things clearly, and never makes you feel rushed. He is knowledgeable, thorough, and genuinely care about his patients’ well-being. Dr. Ilario is an excellent orthopedic surgeon. He is a man of few words, but technically the best. Comes highly recommended by his colleagues. I had a total hip replacement in July, 2025 with Dr. Ilario. Post operative recovery was remarkable in that I had no pain in the hip and could walk quite well with the walker one day after surgery. I was able to return to work in five weeks totally pain free. Would highly recommend Dr. Ilario.
Unfortunately, one of the worst pychiatry experiences I've had, and I've seen at least a dozen. Instead of listening, she spent our whole half hour repeating that she doesn't want to take me on as a patient if I am already being seen by another psychiatrist (fair enough, but wasting our time repeating it 100x doesn't help). I have Kaiser, and they are horrible for mental health, so I need to see an outside Pych. for the past few years. Dr. Reddy is truly a gem in the quagmire of the Kaiser Permanente system. Unlike his colleagues, he's not a body shamer, he is not rude, and he treats his patients with dignity and respect, very unusual at Kaiser. He treated me like a human being, which I wasn't expecting. He listened to me, performed surgery on me, and followed up professionally. His kindness is apparent, and he's a highly skilled surgeon. I was stressed out when I met him in the Hospital as I was having breathing problems. He was very quick to assess my situation then making me comfortable. He was my Doctor for the four days I was there at Kaiser. He did his best toMake sure I had a small cup of coffee as that was important to me. He read through my chart and saw I had an extra 20 pounds on me at which he figured out it was fluid around my lungs and heart and by the second day I lost ten pounds of fluid and could move and breath unencumbered. Dr Maynes shows a lot of patience in our conversations
Dr. Hananel does not listen. I had to shout at her to listen to me. She was annoyed that I was informed about my health and asked questions. She told me details of another (overweight) patient's conditions who she had just seen. I couldn't help but assume she would be talking about me and my health conditions to the next patient. She talked in circles, contradicted herself and gave me no confidence in her care. I have never had such a horrible experience with a doctor.
Dr. Tran certainly chose the right career as she knows how to make you feel safe and trusting at a time when you are concerned and frightened. I had no concerns about undergoing surgery and her follow up afterwards was most comforting.
Dr Chrastil is professional, pleasant, doesn’t rush you, and answers all your questions. I’ve seen him twice, and he had a great bedside manner and smile both times. His assistant Kate is the same and handles scheduling and prescriptions. The whole staff from front desk to XRay was professional and pleasant too. I can tell I won’t just be Hip Replacement #5723. I may just choose him as my surgeon, based on what I have experienced so far. Definitely recommend for a consult and evaluation of your painful condition.
