Dr Madden well educated, brilliant. Wonderful bedside manner. Wonderful staff.
Extremely bright (manic?) doctor. He had me over medicated and even wrote RX when test show negative. I've since found a terrific Neuro MD who has helped me understand what's going on with my body and treated my symptoms appropriately.
Excellent Neurologist coupled with a very good staff. George M.
Having quite badpanic Thank you Eileen Clark
I felt so hopeful going to a neurologist, but I was truly disappointed. Dr. Madden is old school and prescribed me tons of medication to prevent my chronic migraine, non helped. I returned to my regular doctor and he put me on current medications which has helped. I never felt comfortable with Dr. Madden, I felt ridiculed and not listened to. I do not recommend Dr. Madden.
I trust Dr. Madden completely! I have cerebral palsy & other chronic conditions, his patient since 2013 when he came to Sarasota. He trained at Albany Medical Center then worked with the best hospitals & colleagues in Boston. He never hesitated to work with me, though older people with CP often have complicated presentations. He's accurately diagnosed my uncommon & elusive complaints. His treatment is effective & innovative, grounded in cutting-edge research & practice. He's brilliant yet excruciatingly humble. His is a busy... read more
I moved to Fl. 2 years ago. Prior to the move I had the same neurologist since my brain stem stroke at age 42. I’ve had other strokes since then, and my difficulties were always attributed to them. My first visit with Dr. Madden he asked if I’d been tested for Myasthenia Gravis, noticing the droop of my right eye. Since that visit, his suspicion was confirmed and I’m now receiving IVIG infusions every 28 days and take 240 mg.’s of pyridostigm daily. I’m regaining strength in my arms and legs, my balance is better and I’m loo... read more
Dr. Madden is brilliant!! I had my first stroke 23 years ago. My neurologist in Mi. attributed all my balance, strength and droopy eye to that and subsequent strokes. 23 years. The first time I saw Dr. Madden he asked if I had been tested for Myasthenia Gravis, my first visit! I told him no and he ordered numerous tests to be 100% sure. The last was a muscle biopsy which proved without a doubt, his first assumption based on his years of experience was correct.. I’m now taking oral meds and infusions to regain my strength and... read more
Dr.Madden always listened and kept an open mind, unlike so many neurologists I have met over the years. I appreciated feeling like he cared enough to not only listen to me but to understand me as well. In that, he was able to diagnose and treat me as a whole person, not just parts.
