The burgers and fries deserve 4-5 stars, the staff, not so much. The place was gross. Dirty tables, dirty floors that looked seldom swept, and never mopped. No masks or gloves on staff, one lady was munching on something while preparing our food.
First it took way too long for the food that really is not the main problem. The place was dirty. Under normal circumstances this is not a "killer" but right now it could be. The table tops were disgusting. We saw no sign of them being cleaned between customers. None of the employees had on face masks. (what! we can't we doing that now!). That however was not the worse part! good burgers (a little too big, but that's just me), and really good homemade fries... really good sharp onion on the burger. 20 bux got us 2 burgers, 2 drinks and we split an order of the fries. wasn't busy at all when we went, but it was a cold rainy day so that kept the crowds down. good, personable and friendly staff.. if you're ever poking around newport I highly suggest trying them out... we'll be back again...
