Friendliest in the Neighborhood – My favorite local haunt! The staff is the best in the area: Becky, Laura, Michelle, Tara, Sean...all so nice, so much fun. Can't beat the traditional Irish Breakfast on weekend brunch. Backyard garden and front sidewalk cafe are a blessing in this crazy city. You'll see me hanging out with my furry friend often. Not Your Average Pub – I work very close to Mad Hatter and never thought to stop in being that it looked like your typical mail - order run of the mill Irish Pub (no offense, but they all tend to be one in the same). However, after meeting up with some co-workers there on a recent Friday night, I was pleasantly surprised. The bar itself is just gorgeous, the old woodwork, mirrors and tin ceiling, I loved it. Great Fries, Friendly Staff, Good Neighboorhood Joint – Mad Hatter is a great neighboorhood pub...bartender Sean is a doll, and the food is pretty good for bar fare...the fries are outstanding. Great place to watch a game, start the evening, end the evening, or anything in between.
BEST SUNDAY EVER! – After flying from England on Saturday night, we were raring to go! So on Sunday morning my husband went to meet a friend of his who lived in Gramercy, at the Mad Hatter Saloon to watch the Liverpool match (there is loads of TVs),where they had a few guinness and an irish breakfast! Best happy hour on 3rd ave – I found this great bar in my neighborhood. It?s a great space and cozy. I went in for lunch and they have an awesome happy hour and great food. I thought the staff were helpful and friendly. Also the heated back patio is a great bonus, you can?t beat it. I must say I?m addicted to their spring rolls? delicious! I?ve had a great time there with everyone; the bartenders are loads of fun. Well worth a visit, for a drink or to watch a game as they have tons of huge flat screen TV?s.
Great service and an awesome Shepherd's Pie! – This place ROCKS!! The service was great and the food even better! The beer came right after the order went in!! It was really cold that night so I wanted something nice and comforting. What better comfort food then Shepherd's Pie. WOW!! You get a huge plate of Shepherd's Pie and it was so good I was even tempted to lick the bowl clean!! I've been back there a few times since and keep planning on going back!!

The Best Shepherd's Pie ..... Ever ! – I absolutely love this place, great bartenders, great drinks & a great jukebox. It was 4 of us and we sat at a bar table. 3 of us had Shepherd's Pie, so comforting, "Yum-O!? We all had a blast. Our service was attentive and pleasant. I have been there many times and we will be back many time more !!
