Went to the Mad Fox yesterday for lunch and had a great experience. Our food was delicious and our server, Tori, was amazing with our two young kids. We are new to the area and we will be back for sure!
We went to Harris Teeter afterwards and found the seafood attendant much more attentive and animated than the bartender at Mad Fox today.
Great place to be. Delicious award-winning craft beer, friendly bartenders, and a kitchen where everything down to the ketchup is made from scratch!
If I could give this a negative star I would. I've been to Mad Fox before and their food is good. This time I was visiting for the Burns Night event. I got my tickets and reserved a table over a month before the event. When we get there it's total chaos. Everyone allegedly has a reservation and the hostess staff, it took 3 of them, could not figure out what to do cause the bar area was full. Awesome Beers, tasty cuisine, convienent location. Oh yeah!
Attended the special New Years eve party that cost $50. Food was horrible- seemed they shopped at Costco; assumed it would be similar to their menu. Event didn't seem to worth the 50$ but they did have a lot of staff who're awesome. Music was good.

I primarily go there for the beers, and if this was just about beer, I would give them five stars. But I have also had food their many times since their opening, and for a while loved the quality and thought the prices were fair to slightly pricey for the food. Recently I went with my wife and we were both disappointed by the quality of the food even though the prices are higher than ever.
