Worst shopping experience! Don't go to macy's for your gown. They misinform people and blame it on you when its time to pick up your dress. They misinformed me and told me that my dress would be ready to go (altered and cleaned) by the time its ready for pick up. I trusted them and picked it up a few days before my wedding. BIG MISTAKE! It was real dirty and had holes in it.
I had an appointment at the bridal salon and I drove to downtown Minneapolis, paid to park in an expensive ramp and nobody was there. I tried calling the number that was posted there and it went to voice mail. As if that wasn't bad enough, since then no one has called to tell me that they were sorry about not being there.
I wish I could choose ZERO stars because that's what they deserve. BY FAR the WORST and MOST STRESSFUL part of the ENTIRE wedding planning process. It is hard to even know where to begin, honestly. The first time I went in with my MOH and picked out the bridesmaid dresses was good, but the good ended there. Bridesmaids were told they needed to lose weight, credit card information was written down on random pieces of paper and lost, oh and we didn't get the last dress until THREE DAYS before the wedding. I would give Macy's Bridal 0 stars if I could. I'm a bridesmaid in a wedding this September and here is the list of things Macy's has messed up so far for my friend's wedding: 1. Made her pay for expedited shipping but then didn't put it on the actual order, so now her dress isn't arriving on time. 2. charged her again for expedited shipping once this was realized.... now her dress is coming in 1 week before the wedding. 3. Messed up the entire bridal party, adding in girls who were in other bridal parties and completely mix... read more
