Ive eatin here about 10-15 times since 2004 and Ive never had a bad meal. The service and seating are always prompt and the food comes out quick and delicious. I have no idea where some of the other reviews are coming from but its not the macs in colleyville. Folks if you want a \$10 meal go to applebees. Aside, from some of the rude clientel its an OUTSTANDING place to eat!
What a great place for eggs benedict,and homemade cinnamon rolls.
Nothing Special – We decided to try Mac's for my birthday. The salad was pretty good, but there was just nothing special about the steak. It was cooked medium-well the way I like it, but the flavor was just ordinary. My mother got some kind of chicken (I forgot what it was called.) which was covered with a sauce. moderatly priced steak Not a bad place to stop with the family for a steak or seafood.. Priced well and the service was great....Plenty on the menu to cover every ones taste buds.
good service, good food, kinda pricey but worth it
After moving house, my husband insisted he needed a good steak. We chose this over the more highly rated, more expensive Silver Fox. Actually the food here was better and the price was lower. I really did enjoy the meal and the atmosphere. The restaurant is very nice inside, in a modern arts way. Its a bit too open, with high ceiling, to be intimate. I love Macs. I have been eating at Macs for at least 12 years and was thrilled when they opened their location in Colleyville because its much closer to where I live than their south Arlington location. I have given this restaurant multiple chances to redeem themselves for poor service but they just cant get it together. Who is training these waitpersons? We came across this resteraunt by accident. There are serveral nice newer resteraunts all sitting together. Macs Steak & Seafood grounds are well maintained and manicured. My family was able to enjoy the Sun. Brunch and it was absolutely delicious. We ended up visiting here 3xs in a matter of 4 days...lol. During the week we ordered off the menu. I live close to Macs so I decided to try it. It is a great place. The steaks are good and the seafood is wonderful. My family and I often frequent their Sunday brunch. Their fruitbar is wonderful for brunch. I have never had any problems with the service as other people have said. Its a good atmosphere and have had numerous dates at macs. its a very relaxed place.
