We are a family run diner that focuses on our neighbors breakfast and lunch wishes. From our scratch biscuits and sausage gravy to our famous Rueben sandwich, we work hard to know our customers and provide the types of foods they want. Our chuck angus burger with pickles, Swiss cheese, thousand island and caramelized onions, aka The Navy Yarder is awesome! Don't forget the dough Nots!

Horrible service! First time coming in, we sat down because with the menus on the table we expected to be served. We sat there for awhile and no one told us anything, they just sat behind the counter. Then when I went to order I was informed that only breakfast was served on Sunday's, never saw any signs saying that! Then once I decided what breakfast item I wanted I wad informed that they were out of what I wanted. So I had to choose something else. Oh my goodness. I saw this review you posted on Google earlier today just after 12:30. As I said, there is a sign next to the door as you walk in that clearly states Sunday is Breakfast only. I notified all our staff of your first review and reminded them to come out and let people know that we are counter service. Posting a second terrible review on a different site stating the same thing???
Great Family Resteraunt friendly with down home cooking , yummy meals . Brother loved the sweet cream pancakes.

If I could give 0/5 stars I would. I took my grandmother here while I was visiting her and we arrived here at like 11:40am. She asked me to order her a burger off the lunch menu and I went up to order I was told I couldn't order her lunch until 12 and I could wait or find something else. I asked her what she wanted to do and she said we could wait. At 12 I went up and ordered our food. I must say this place has the best Ruben sandwich I have ever had! I have gone out of my way to find one better! I have ordered the rueben at about 10 other places even when we had to travel last year and I must say I am always disappointed because no one can hold a candle to Mac's Place Rueben! I am craving it right now! Thanks for your delish food! I'm never ever disappointed here! �����
