The soup was amazing. The steak was good. The pasta was less than average.
I had my soup delivered via DoorDash. I’'ve ordered the minestrone several times since the reopening of the restaurant and couldn't be happier. This particular batch was scorched, but yet the potatoes were undercooked. The cabbage pieces were very large (3 inches) and tough. I’m a cook and if I had to guess, the kitchen was running behind, so they fired the burner to make the opening bell. I was really surprised to end up disappointed with my dinner.
This is the same old max house as before but feels and looks newer.. thois a very busy place with a very easy to chooae from .. thry have nicd updated bathrooms very clean... went to the bar first order me a long island and what i can say that it was a standard one nothing special... i have to say there soda machines where not opertable and thry had to serve us out a can because the sodas on tap where flat ... then the food i jad to order the camlimari steak and ribey extra large and beleive me.that was freaking tasty as hel... read more
This place is not the same as the old Max Old House. Overcharged us not only for food but in gratuity and soup we did not want. A family of 4 came out to 181 at first and then 160 with correction. These people will try and buckle and dime your wallet. Not worth it!
