This was a spectacular 7k slog through torturous mud pits, whoop-dee doos, mountains, and trenches. With hellacious, trail running and creek crossings thrown in. Great volunteers and well run with great facilities. And, a huge bouncy house filled children's area, you could actually leave your child there while you ran the race, if needed. I know of no other race that does that.
