Friends have said "go to RK in Mt Zion to shop for guns." So off we go to shop. The first thing we noticed was that the store has dim creepy lighting. Not a good start. Second, most departments are not well kept. The store is somewhat messy overall. But the primary reason for the visit was the gun department. We looked in the cases for about 10 minutes with 2 other customers that were there. 2 employees behind the counter never looked at us or spoke to us. Ok they were busy with others. Sent a firearm in for repair. 5 month later.... still sitting in the back of their store. Was more than patient with them, and understanding due to the Covid closures. Was told 3 weeks ago it would be sent “ first thing in the morning tomorrow ”. Then received a call from Henry today stating they still haven’t received the firearm. It was STILL SITTING in the back of the store, and hadn’t been sent off still. Terrible customer service, and terrible attitude from their firearms manager.
Ordered a tiller on April 2. Sent 4 or 5 emails. They finally decided to respond on April 29. Delayed. Funny because orders from amazon and Walmart come in 2 days. I do not recommend Rural King.
during a PANDEMIC you are ordering every customer to use a cart. how dumb are you? this increases the chance of people catching it. not to mention you are wiping carts off over and over with the same RAG. you should be ashamed of yourself for such an ignorant policy.

It’s hard to shop when you have to watch out for dog accidents throughout the store
I ordered a impact driver online, went to check the status online. There was no status, so I went to the Mt, Zion Store. They showed no record of the order, yet I had an order #. They call customer service told me I could pick it up at another store 45 minutes away, had to wait for the manager of that store to push it thru, to wait on the email, saying it was ready. got an email later, saying the order has been cancelled and payment refunded. That leaves me with no impact driver and now have to pay more to get what I want.
I’m trying to buy safe and they have over charged my account and a week later still not fixed.
Great store I will be back for sure!
