The staff and case workers are great to work with here. psychiatrist and therapist are as usual when coming to these places, they don't want to hear much from you while they tend to come off passive aggressive all while miss judgmenting the signs of me being annoyed by their strategies, I'm trying to find the best treatment for myself by helping you guys while you sit back and lable me.., do not ever over share your story in greater details than needed, it's unsafe and you'll start being ruled out with all sorts of things on... read more

Do not see Dr. Iyani if you are or have ever been suicidal. Told her I had these sudden onset severe thoughts of suicide after starting a medicine she prescribed, she then assured me that I had not given it long enough to work. And that I should keep taking it. I then became consumed by these thoughts until nearly taking my life, within weeks. She then denied ever hearing me express that I was suicidal. I thought I had a bad experience at first, but they made things right, and now that I am feeling better mentally, I am proud to say that this place is amazing. Dana has been very helpful for me :)

Staff at mental health Access North is terrible, expected me to know who I was seeing even though they did not and can not know the information until intake, the help at the front desk was very rude and the operator who answered refused to give me his name to complain about them( I found out their names are crystal and Nick) apparently. They lack empathy and compassion and the social skills required to communicate with people that have special needs.
