It was our 5 th time there on our trip from BRISBANE to Melbourne and back
The room was actually better than we thought it would be after checking in and the state of reception being outdated big time. Sadly the neighbours commercial bins get emptied very early and loudly. The shared laundry near our room and the machines are filthy, and the room is long overdue for a deep clean and a little maintenance. Our biggest concern was the disappearance of some lost property, after accidentally leaving some good quality pyjamas hanging on the back of the bathroom door. Older style motel, larger than expected, surprisingly big room with comfy double bed, not two singles pushed together. New tv with streaming but small size and far away from the bed and couch. I ended up wheeling the bed across the room to get comfortably close. Had a room up the back of the property and got no road noise but a bit at recess from the school next door. Quiet at night. Pool didn’t look inviting, needs some love. I’d stay again for an overnighter next time I’m in town.
