RecommendedI was up to Mackinaw City for the first time on July 27-29 2018 was the best place I have ever been. I newly pregnant so when we come back for another visit it will be for a week not just 2 days. I'm looking to buy a house up there I live in Whitmore Lake. can't wait to see it all over again miss it so much
If you're looking for an AWESOME place to stay while in mackinaw check out Mill Creek campground. They have Cabins, RV sites, and tent sites with and without water and electric. Love it there!!!!!
The fee increases for campgrounds this year are absolutely shameful. I would never use this bureau for recommendations as they are clearly only here to make a profit and cannot therefore be trusted.
Cannot believe how badly we were treated at The Crown. Further more cannot believe you recommended this hotel to us. Left in a room with no heat Christmas eve-Christmas day. Had to go find somewhere to buy my own toilet paper! And fyi no one honors your gift certificates! There is no way that with only 6 cars there for 2 days that they were at 80 percent capacity. Seriously wondering if the same guy that owns every hotel and the mall owns the visitor bureu too.
Visit, but do not eat or stay in this town. Nasty food, nasty accommodations and worst of all, nasty people.
Can you believe the the RINOS are actually going to close the Mac Bridge for 7 hours on Memorial Day so the LIBS and the LGBT'S can walk the bridge ??!!!! It was never a big deal before but the Michigan RINO Republicans now believe that stopping ALL commerce into the lower peninsula will be a smart thing ..... I guess they have finally realized that nobody wants to GO NORTH this time of year and no one would notice the bridge closing ... typical DUMB FORKS
