Second time in 2 years we had a big group of adults and teens (~30 people) to get a club team bonding dinner at this place. They asked for helping them prepare for the event and we placed food orders a week (!) in advance. When we arrived, the round tables were reserved but separated, and of course, some guests were separated from others. The food service took an incredibly very long time. Ordered food a week in advance. Still waiting for more than hour and half. Slowest pasta cooking I've ever experienced.
We've been coming here for a couple years since moving to the area. We love the food, love the service, and love the setup and beer selection. There are awesome servers and bartenders, but the times of day we come in we always look for Sara or Jim. They are phenomenal! Sara remembers our drink of choice, and Jim is one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet. We always feel well taken care of, and happy with our visit.
Been sitting here now for almost an hour now. Just waiting to order. A server has walked by once, but not a peep. This happens almost every single time I come to this place. The food is descent, but isn’t worth the wait or the service. Terrible, terrible, terrible service is an understatement. Oh, and once you finally get someone to take your order, good luck getting your food in a timely manner. This place remains delicious.. The Rod and Reel is still a great deal. Sat outside and it was perfect. Had the lunch special. Lodgepoles are the best.
