I love Mackenzie river do not get me wrong but the most recent time we have gone to this location it was horrible 🤢 my wife was sick after and I was astonished by how bad the food was….. my wife got a steak medium rare…it was over cooked and some how cold but on top of that. It tased like it had sat in bloody water for hours before being cooked. I got their bison burger and anyone who has had one knows the taste. Fantastic service and great food! Sophie was a rockstar.
The waiter did not even try to attempt to hide the racism, he ignored us constantly yet went ahead and served/attended the other customers that were not POC. Made my family feel shitty, the food is great but god, the manager should do something about that shitty racist waiter, it was extremely uncalled for.
The food was amazing. And if you come on your birthday they will let you choose a free dessert on your birthday! They did forget about one of our orders but they didn't charge us for that order. Over all a really great experience, and a fun outing.
