I had a frustrating experience with the office manager at this office. I wanted her to bill my insurance because I have a HRA account with plenty of money to be pulled from to cover my doctor visit plus more. She wanted payment up front. I then had my insurance company get on the phone with her to confirm the amount that is in my account. The insurance told her to bill them and then they will give the money from my account to pay once the claim has been submitted.
