My 2016 Ford F150 had the water pump go out just outside of Lake City and I was able to get it back to Macke Motors. The service team replaced the water pump, thermostat and serpentine belt for about $1,100. After repairs were "completed" I drove my truck back to Carroll, just to have it overheat in my driveway and the coolant reservoir was almost empty but nothing was leaking. Dealer confirmed car as listed, drove 2.5 hours one way only to find out car was not as listed. It said manual transmission when it was an automatic. Wasted 5 hours drive time. All they (the manager and the salesman) could say was they can't change it and they don't review their listings.
An Amazing experience at Macke Motors!!! The dealership had listed a fresh trade in at a great price. Called the next morning at opening talked with Bob (Bobby). Right away got me the info and pictures I asked, even when it was a pain as the truck was on the lift in the shop. He was very forward and let me know about a big dent in the box of the truck, which I had missed in the initail photos. Notified me that the truck was generating a lot of calls. Had vehicle inspection done by my mechanic. I'm OK with the vehicle but heed my ⚠️ ⚠️ ⚠️. My mechanic fixed some things they didn't tell me about during when i asked for a Carfax report they didnt want to show me. I ate the bill of repairs, and I am happy with the vehicle otherwise. So, they cleared the codes and didn't fix the issue before selling the vehicle. Glad i got After inscription report done by my own mechanic. I would go back to buy in future though because Greg is a good guy they did us good thanks to all you.
