MacKay's Animal Hospital has a long history in Burlington. We have been with them for over 40 years now, when we returned from Bermuda with two cats. Last week our black kitty BOO needed to have her teeth cleaned and one tooth removed. Her blood test was good, Dr. MacKay called me and confirmed that. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Mackay Animal Hospital and the incredible team led by Dr. Ian Mackay! When my dog Bear needed teeth extracted, I was understandably nervous — but from the moment we walked through the door, the entire staff put both of us completely at ease. We've brought our fur family to MacKay's for over 5 years now and they have been great to work with. They provide loving care from the minute you step in the door. The Doctors and all the staff are very kind and courteous and provide excellent care for our pets. I highly recommend them.
Dr. Rebecca O'Brien put my tiger on a new vet prescription food to address his lip, stomach, pelvin and paw lesions diagnosed to be caused by food allergies/sensitivities that other vets didn't discover; however, she did after shaving off fur and seeing that immediate action was required. Will return for follow-up after 8 week new diet test. Her print-out explaining my cat's problem was in harmony with all the specific symptoms my cat was experiencing. We have been patients of Dr. Rebecca O'Brian since moving to Burlington last year, and she has consistently provided exceptional care at every visit.
