My husband went here back in the 70/80s and was so excited to return. It didn't disappoint. Kids had a blast exploring.
what this spot lacks on refinement it makes it up with beautiful peaceful surroundings. Less than a mile from the park or downtown estes, but I barely wanted to leave to back porch of cabin 8 because all I could see was nature fit as far as my eyes could see.

This place is really nice if you want a rustic cabin in the woods experience thats inside the Rocky Mountain National Park! A 5 min drive and we were already in line for the main entrance to the park. It has the amenities that tenting doesn't, and that was what we were looking for. It is quiet here, way off the main roads so lots of birds and animals around, no automobile sounds unless a neighbor is driving to their cabin.
