This place is really nice if you want a rustic cabin in the woods experience thats inside the Rocky Mountain National Park! A 5 min drive and we were already in line for the main entrance to the park. It has the amenities that tenting doesn't, and that was what we were looking for. It is quiet here, way off the main roads so lots of birds and animals around, no automobile sounds unless a neighbor is driving to their cabin. We wish we could visit RMNP and Estes Park more often and stay at these cabins each time! Really enjoy the large property where wildlife can be viewed easily and the quiet and the stars because there isn't light from other properties. Cabin was comfy and clean as always. If you need something that isn't in your cabin, ask at the office. They helped us with a couple of items easily. Once again we hiked the trails into RMNP. From the furniture to the lighting and asthetics, you will feel like you've stepped back in time. We love it!!!! Just a few minutes from Rocky Mountain National Park entrance and not far from all your downtown favorites, you can't go wrong staying at Machins!
