I find the atmosphere of Machine Shed charming. I have eaten here before for Dinner and was always impressed with my food. We ate here 11/7 and the food was awesome. Sandwiches with fries. Noticed the set up of chafing dishes etc and after inquiring was told of the Sunday Brunch. It sounded ideal to take my Parents to celebrate their recent birthdays. Possibly the worst meal and dining experience we’ve had. Had to remind waitress that German potato salad came with fish fry. Brisket sandwich was tough and eat less than half. Had indigestion throughout the evening. Waitress was loud. Could hear her three booths away. Asked her for a large box for carry out and she brought a small one. Doesn’t listen. Next booth over had trouble getting a brandy Old Fashion right. Really! In Wisconsin your bartender can’t make an Old Fashion! At least the fish was good.
very disappointed by tonight's meal pork was so dry couldn't eat. said something to manager and nothing didn't even eat our meals!
RecommendedJust had the smoked prime rib and the heartland combo, tasty and great portion size for the price. AJ, our server, was friendly, prompt, and professional.
Great customer service. Our server Michael was wonderful. Food was coming out fast. Wonderful fish fry. Recommend getting the French Onion Soup or their Potato soup. Both are delicious.

My family and I eat here fairly often, and were there last night for dinner. There were four of us in our group, and three of the meals were absolutely delicious, but one was more than a little overcooked. My hubby doesn't like to send his food back in a restaurant, but this was an exception~ he just couldn't eat it as it was. Breakfast wasn't good at all. Pancakes were just ok. The eggs were just ok. I feel like I just gave away $10. I won't be back.
I will never come back here again. The restaurant looks nice and the decor is like what you would expect for being like a farm/barn like atmosphere. Their gift shop area is pretty neat with unique gadgets and recipes and such. However their food quality is just okay...nothing spectacular or i wouldn't drive such a long distance to eat there.
